Bio:

In 2007 I started with a couple of friends a new Drum & Bass event called Strike Out. Our first event was on the 25th of April 2008 at a squatted elementary school called ‘de Brug’. After many successfully editions at the same location we decided to split up and all go our separate ways. This was the moment Strike Back was born. After organizing a couple of Strike Back events a new concept was born we called it Deep Cutz, the rest is history;) Nowadays I’m also working on a new project called ‘RANSOM’.

I did some collaborations with Forms and Give it Dub (RANSOM), and a lot of exchanges with my German partner in crime MC Temper. At Strike Back and Deep Cutz I’m taking care of the bookings and promo. I’m also the (un)official agent of our residents.

Hailing from Ede, The Netherlands, Some friends came together to organize a underground feeling drum and bass party. This was at the legendary (squat) location "de Brug". After a while this location was not an option anymore, so we packed and headed towards Arnhem and Nijmegen with the Strike Back crew. This is where Deep Cutz was also born.

As a movie maker myself and graphic designer i always try to give the artwork an grungey and spacey look. You can check my latest video's at the strike back website.

Just like almost the rest of the Crew I’m hailing from Ede, the town we shook up with some drum and bass vibes a couple years ago with a squat party called, Strike Out. I was already participating as a volunteer for, and communicator between the squat and the strike out crew, when I started off with an events management education. from there on i somehow got into the Adubt organization in Arnhem and we started doing collabs with two former strike out crew members whom became the Strike Back crew after Strike out fell apart. From there on we took it to a next level together with some Dj’s , Mc’s and people with organizing skills we began Deep Cutz.

Hailing from Nijmegen, I always loved to organize events, I already started with that when I was thirteen. After secundairy school I didn’t know wich study I had to choose, till I noticed the events management education in Arnhem. During the First year I contacted a venue in Arnhem or they could use some organizers for a dubstep party they had, called Adubt. After a couple of editions we started to doing collabs with members of Strike Out, who later became Strike Back. Together with the Adubt crew, Strike Back crew and some of our residences, we began Deep Cutz in Nijmegen.

Bio:

Since 2009 I've been studying photography at the academy of arts in Breda, my main work consists of documentary's containing people and places. I basically tell story's throughout my camera. A little while ago a friend of mine approached me with the question if I was interested in photographing one of their party's called Deep Cutz. And so I did and after few times and noticed i started to like doing it. After a while I pretty much photographed all the party's they organized, and since then I became their main photographer. It's something I do outside of school, learning from it everytime. I like doing it, and it's a good learning experience.
