Hailing from the center of the Netherlands Philip Stoop under his alter ego Multiplex Mc has been relentlessly pushing the Dutch Drum and Bass scene forward.
Experimenting with new styles he was the very first Dutch Mc venturing into the Dubstep sounds with the infamous DJ Osiris (Dubstep.nl) and G-Selecter aka G-Man.
The offshoot of his Mc-ing career was Utrecht based crew Cultural Evolution. Hosting these nights he got Noticed and joined forces with the Utreg Massive bringing the sound of dub to Utrecht from his home base invading all over the Netherlands.
With recedencies at Night of the Drums in Breda and Haagenbasz in Den Hague in colaboration with his fellow Utreg Massive crew member Chakra Mc he further developed his diverse skills and fine tuned his style.
Combining and Mashing up ragga toasting fast flowing rhymes, hip hop inspired flows and rhymes all 100% freestyle action.
Hosting the well known international big shots of Drum and Bass like Dilinja, John B, Calyx, TeeBee, Fabio, Black Sun Empire, Noisia, Adi J, Eye D and Hidden and Nymfo. Also upcoming talented artists like June Miller, Chillum, El Maria and Silvafonk. This resulted in more avant garde nights like Connex, to many names to mention!
Now-a-days steaming full power ahead winding it up for real Multiplex Mc is member of Arnhem based Dubsteppers Adubt. Underground sound system driven squat style parties by former Strike Out now Strike Back Crew. Exploring the deeper sounds of the spectrum with Deep Cutz in Nijmegen. drum,n,bass and bass-driven dubstep tunes as vehicles of sound system and bass culture. 44K Hertz and below the vibrations we all love, its all good!
