JUNGLEFEVER

Junglefever is sinds 2001 actief bezig geweest met het promoten en draaien van drum & bass en jungle op raves door heel Europa. Deze junglist bekend van de Haagse 070 D&B, Snakebite D&B en Amen Warfare avonden raakte geïnteresseerd in audioproductie eind 2006. Dit leidde tot het uitbrengen van een aantal releases op verschillende digitale labels en CD compilaties, met als gevolg, het opzetten van zijn eigen jungle vinyl labels in 2010: Lickshot Recordings met Bong Selecta (Clash Recordings- NL) voor de rootsy jungle sound, en Bomba Cut Recordings met Stivs (Life4Land, DSC- UK) voor de hardere mashed-up jungle.

Dephanx (Janax Looij) started making music at the age of 15, playing in garage-..bands and making electronic music with programs like fast tracker. The love for.. diversity in music soon lead to Dephanx buying his first turntables. In order to ..pursue a career in music he decided to move to Amsterdam and attend the ..School of Audio Engineering (SAE). There he learned about most issues regarding ..the producing, recording and playing of music and got hands-on experience ..with a lot of equipment. .. .. he was capable of making alot of bangin sounds and these where picked up by the scene. soon after that his carreer whent upwards with deep cutz! MC NOIA

Mc NoiA got active in the underground sound system driven rave scene in the late 90’s. After attending many of these raves he caught the virus and with some friends started organizing raves himself. Inspired by UK Mc’s like Mc GQ and Mc Stevie Hyper D (R.I.P) and early Dutch Drum and Bass Mc’s like Mc Jay and Mc Proskript he started to Mc / Host his first gigs. This point in time was the offshoot of his mc-ing career. NoiA is part of the small group of professional Dutch Mc’s within the UK Bass music movement representing the sound all over the Netherlands. Originally a Jungle and Drum and Bass Mc, NoiA around 2002 got infected via his reggae and dub roots by the upcoming sounds of Dubstep, Bassline & Glitch and started hosting these kind of nights as well. As resident for crews like Strike Back, Deep Cutz, Drop!, Bass In Ya Face, Step Right Dub and the mighty Oercircus Sound System he became one of the most booked underground Mc’s of the Netherlands. On a more commercial basis NoiA is representing his sound having played the big festivals like Lowlands. Also outside of the Netherlands NoiA is representing his sound with bookings all over Europe and even South Africa. Initiator of the infamous Deep Cutz Raves in skatepark Waalhalla in Nijmegen. Currently the biggest and most bass heavy sound system driven legalized UK Bass music rave of the Netherlands. Letting a new generation of ravers experience the Sound System culture. Ever exploring new possibilities in lyrical support together with his partner in crime Multiplex Mc, NoiA uses an FX unit for live unique dubby FX when performing. Let the experience talk and have a listen, his unobtrusive style of hosting and setting the vibe is second to none.
